April Showers...
Claire is potty training! We (Claire and Mommy) were at the park on Thursday afternoon and Claire started pulling down her pants. This was a little strange for her, so I asked her if she was wet (no), hot (no), had to go potty (no). She continued to run around, pulling down her pants and diaper. I said, "Claire, if you don't want to wear your diaper, maybe we need to go shopping for undies". She got so excited! "Yes! Yes, mama. Shop for undies. I want to shop for undies!" So we decided to walk home, eat dinner and go shopping for undies. She could hardly wait. She ate two bites of dinner and told me she was ready to go shopping for undies and that she wanted to go shop for undies now. Off we went and she picked out some Dora underwear. She couldn't wait to get them home and show Daddy. Once she had them on, she ran around the house, ecstatic! She wanted to wear them to bed and hasn't turned back. We're on day 3 and the accidents are becoming fewer and fewer- the first day was definitely messy. I didn't expect our little girl to literally grow up over night! Ready or not, here she comes! :)
