One of the highlights of our trip was Claire getting to meet her Great Aunt Ethel. Claire loved the stuffed yellow duck she was given, and she liked all the interesting things at Aunt Ethel's house, like this coaster.
Claire was a handful that day, there was so much to discover, she really couldn't stand to be in anyone's lap for more than 30 seconds!
Aunt Ethel had some great toys! Claire was partial to her measuring cups. I think a set of those will be going on the Christmas wish list.
We had a great time hanging out at the hotel before the wedding. This is Claire's special mobile for getting down the aisle. Papa made the wooden frame that fit over the old red wagon and Mimi's cousin, Mary painted it. As you can see, Claire thinks its pretty special.
Claire took her first plane flight (not including the pink plane, see below). We flew to Michigan for Uncle Ryan and Aunt Missy's wedding. Claire did great! We were glad that the longest leg was only an hour. Claire thoroughly read the safety brochure.
Uncle Ryan's flight from Denver was late to Milwaukee, so we ended up meeting at the airport there and flying together to Grand Rapids. Claire takes about 15 seconds to warm up to her Uncle Ryan. They are great friends!
